With thirteen years as a Special Education Teacher, twelve years as a martial artist (blackbelt in karate), seven years as a competitive amateur boxer, three years training and mentoring other boxers, and nine years coaching in various sports, I can coach, train, teach, and mentor with great fidelity. It has been a lifelong dream to open a dojo of my own. And after falling in love with the sport of boxing, I look forward to combining these disciplines and sharing my joy in the sport.
